WILD PEAFOWL CHICKS

These chicks are the first we saw this Spring, they were right on time with last years babies, arriving near the end of May. A very proud Peahen had the babies out for a stroll, teaching them how to avoid humans, eat bugs and play in the middle of a busy road :-)

The chicks are so tiny and adorable, their little legs are like pipe cleaners in size. We are crossing our fingers and hoping all the babies survive the harshness of living in the wild.
