DENNIS VISITING P2
He is normally afraid of me but today Dennis was hungry so he put up with me taking his picture so he could grab a couple of yummy panfeesh from our pond.
P2 is a private farm and sanctuary for non-threatening, Florida woodland animals. We're surrounded by the sound of construction and loss of natural habitat for birds, reptiles and creatures of all sort. Our goal is to provide a natural habitat for them to find respite amid the changing landscape and share the journey with you.

A couple of great white egrets hanging out with the ibis
The egrets and herons typically travel alone... so we were very happy to see these two great white egrets traveling together. They stand so tall and beautiful among the flock of ibis here on nappy beach. Egrets have such long elegant necks... and they hold their heads high.
Notice above how the ibis have shed their breeding colors - bright cherry legs and beak with a black tip - and have gone back to their light salmon legs and beak.
Except for this guy... No way am I giving up my cherry coloring... I'm going to keep it as long as possible. I think I look pretty hot in cherry and white, don't you? :D
