Marilyn will be two years old in April. She has spent a large part of her mature life being "broody". Apparently it's what Silkie hens do best (besides being soft, fluffy and nice chickens).
Here she is, in "The Broody Box". In this photo she is sitting on 7 eggs, 3 of which we KNOW have babies in them. It's still a long journey to life for these baby birds. We're here to help our little hen in any way we can. We should hear peeping in a week. It's exciting.
