July was extremely dry, hot and humid. We had to pump water out of the big pond to keep bamboo and baby plants alive.
Fortunately August kicked off with a series of afternoon rain showers that have watered all thirsty plants and refilled the aquifers.
Today we have seven ducks schwim schwimming around on the big pond.
