WINDOW CHICKENS AND PEAFOWL

Ever since the chickens came to live at P2 the peafowl seem to have been hanging around more. They love to come eat the chickens "treats" and even lay around inside the Punky-Rooster's aviary when the Free-Rangers are out doing their jobs.

It's not uncommon these days to see a chicken and a peahen sitting by the kitchen window. 

Here's a recent example, by the way we love these ladies.

CANDY LAYS AN EASTER EGG

FRESH FROM THE FARM, WEIRD EGGS ;-)

We have two little "Easter Egger" Bantam hens that came to live with us back at the beginning of September, 2021, they were only two days old, delivered to us via USPS Express Mail. They were incredibly cute little fluff balls when they were chicks but now they're becoming ladies (they're still super cute :-). One baby hen was lighter in color and one was a rich brown color. Mary named the light colored hen "Candy" and the darker one "Bunny" (a definite nod and tip of the hat to Easter in naming these two little hens).

DUSTY & SHANNON MEET, LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

Two days ago Dusty and Shannon first met. It was love at first cluck. Here is there story, told in a most unusual broken up sort of way.

NATASHA, WHITE CRESTED BLACK POLISH BANTAM CHICKEN

Photos today of the very beautiful Mary with her little White Crested, Black Polish Bantam Hen known around these parts as Natasha (she clucks with a beautiful accent). Two of these beautiful fluff topped "shroom-head" Bantam chickens live in our Flock 5 family. When you see these cute little bantam hens  it's hard not to say awwwwwwwww and laugh at their antics.
