BREAD, IT'S WHAT RACCOONS AND PEACOCKS CRAVE

30 loaves of bread, it is the favorite food for Peafowl and Raccoons. The Jif peanut butter is a special treat for the Raccoons. The oatmeal is for the photographer :-)

DUCKS AND HERONS, BEST FRIENDS

This heron loves hanging around the Florida Mottled Ducks. They are friends because the heron eats fish and the ducks eat the P2 Corn Mountain, everybody is happy.

MEET "NIPPLES" THE RACCOON

This raccoon is very shy and she is always wet when she arrives so that indicates she swam across the canal out back to eat at the P2 Wildlife Buffet.

P2 BREAD

I was checking out at Publix grocery store and after seeing 17 loaves of bread go down the belt the cashier asked: do you like Bread? both her and the lady bagging groceries seemed relieved that I was not going to eat any of the bread I was buying. I explained it is for the wild Peafowl and Raccoons that eat at my outdoor animal buffet.

ADORABLE BABY RACCOON, "LITTLE FLUFFY"

He comes and begs for bread by the window, I can't say no to him when he looks at me with those big black eyes. He loves cheap Aldi's white bread more than anything else, even meat, or popcorn or fruits, gimmee that gluten lol

I love Florida but today was sweltering, here at P2 we measured 90 degrees F and 90% humidity for highs. It was a great day for swimming :-)

BABY RACCOON LOVE

This little guy is so cute, he is one of the four baby raccoons that were born and raised in the canal wildlife area behind P2 (notice his fur is wet because he swam across the canal to get here). Even though they are cute wild raccoons can be very vicious biters so we LOVE THEM from afar with our camera.

OUR BOY'S, MALE FLORIDA PEACOCKS

Captain Hook (closest) and two of his male peacock friends (who seem to be new to our farm), they have wonderful gentle spirits and it is such a joy to have them visit.

DUCKS IN THE RAIN NEXT TO PEACOCK POND

Florida Mottled Ducks.  10 minutes of happy, wet, grooming, and drinking ducks.  We are now getting visited by larger groups, probably families.

CAPTAIN HOOK NEW FEATHERS

In this photo you can clearly see this boys pretty new feathers coming in.

This is a really large turtle, she's over 300 feet away and still looks big lol. Watch her hind feet struggling to cover some freshly laid eggs, it's a tough life being a turtle in Peacock Pond.

This is one large duck, he has been coming to P2 regularly and has a wonderful friendly vibe and energy

He is over three times the size of the Florida Mottled ducks that hang out here daily

Little Blue Heron at the P2 Lake

There's one little blue heron (yes, that's his official name) that comes to fish at the lake, and with the new iPhone zoom lens, we can really study him up close.  Watch the slow, graceful movement of the feet as he walks and gets a nice fishy snack.
